There are two types of animations that can be triggered through an Action:
- Using Mecanim: You will automatically see the list of trigger parameters that have been set up in the Animator Window of the Interactive Object. The animator can either be at the root of the IO or directly in the visuals if it comes from an animated 3D model made in an external software. In this example, the parameter ‘fly’ is needed in order for the animation to start (blue arrow transition). An interaction will read this parameter and launch it when its conditions are met.
- Using Animation Clips: You still need an animator component (WARNING: in this mode you have to deactivate the Animator) but you can simply drop the animation clips inside and they will appear in the list.
Check ‘OnTrigger’ to specify the animation to be launched with the interaction.
